When you want to get buzzed (but not the boozy kind of buzz) make this glamorous caffeinated espresso martini.
If you don’t have an espresso machine (and let’s be real- we don’t all have espresso machines in our homes) then pick up a double shot of espresso the next time you’re in a coffee shop to take home. It needs to be cold anyways for this drink, so pop it in your fridge and it’ll be good for 2 days.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 oz (3 tbs) New London Light non-alcoholic spirit
- 1.5 oz (3 tbs) of espresso
- ¾ oz (1 tbs + 1.5 tsp) light brown sugar syrup*
INSTRUCTIONS
In a cocktail shaker over a little ice, combine the New London Light non-alcoholic spirit with your espresso, and light brown sugar syrup*. Pour into a chilled martini glass, and finally garnish with espresso power and 3 coffee beans. Enjoy immediately.
*For the light brown sugar syrup, combine 1 cup light brown sugar (packed) with ½ cups near-boiling hot water in a heat-safe container and stir to combine until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool completely and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
