FAQs
Are all your products alcohol-free?
Every product listed on our website is considered non-alcoholic in the United States, which means they are less than 0.5% alcohol-by-volume.
The only exception is cocktail bitters. Because you usually only use a few dashes at a time, they are generally considered a "non-alcoholic" ingredient.
Alcohol content is indicated for each product under Nutritional Information.
If you want absolutely no alcohol, you can view all our 0.0% ABV products here.
Fun fact: ripe fruit, juices and even bread all contain trace amounts of alcohol!
Do these really taste like alcohol?
We stand behind every product we sell and have chosen them because we believe they offer the experience of a great drink without the booze. The producers have done an amazing job capturing the flavors, aromas and even textures of the wine and spirits they've set out to mimic. However, there are certainly differences from alcoholic products. You may not mistake a non-alcoholic gin for an alcoholic one, but we bet you'll enjoy an alcohol-free Gin & Tonic just as much.
How should I drink them?
Good question! This is most important for the spirit substitutes (non-alcoholic gin, tequila, whiskey, etc), which are designed to be mixed into cocktails. This can be a simple Gin & Tonic or a more complex drink. Go ahead and try them plain for curiosity's sake, but it's not how they are really meant to be enjoyed.
For wine substitutes, store them in the fridge and serve in wine glasses (just like alcoholic wine). Ready-to-drink sodas and sparklers are meant to be drunk chilled straight from the can or bottle (though a glass is fine too).
On each product page, we include recommended serving suggestions so you'll never be in doubt.
How do I store them? Do they go bad?
Each product includes storage and shelf-life information on the label, so be sure to check there first.
In general, everything can be stored at room temperature before you open it. Non-alcoholic spirits never need to be refrigerated, and will last at least 6 months after opening. Syrups and wines should be refrigerated after opening.
After opening, non-alcoholic wines will last 1-2 days in the fridge, especially if you use a vacuum pump to remove the oxygen.
Are these products suitable for people in recovery?
This is a deeply personal decision. Everyone has their own recovery process and triggers. Our products are non-alcoholic, but many are made to mimic alcohol. If this is a concern for you, we recommend discussing it with your doctor, therapist, sponsor and/or close friends first.

I'm pregnant or on medication. Can I drink these?
Our products are non-alcoholic, but we always recommend you consult your doctor if you have any concerns about your specific situation.
When mixed into a cocktail, even products that are less than 0.5% ABV straight will yield a drink with a much lower alcohol content that is comparable to that found in orange juice.
We include nutritional information and ingredients about each product so that you can make informed decisions either way.
What about people under legal drinking age?
